She has taught at Framingham State University and Bunker Hill Community College since 2008.     Dr. Edward L. D’Antonio is a tenured Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina Beaufort that specializes in medicinal chemistry for neglected tropical diseases. Since 2013, he has been teaching a variety of courses including Principles of Biochemistry, General Chemistry I and II, Quantitative Analysis, Forensic Techniques and Data Analysis, and Biological Principles. His research includes a team of undergraduate researchers that utilize a variety of techniques ranging from analytical chemistry, biotechnology, enzymology, structural biology, and synthetic chemistry. Structure-based drug design and screening approaches are his principle techniques in developing new classes inhibitors for enzyme drug-targets found in parasites of trypanosomatid diseases.

    Dean Simpson is a professor and educational consultant from the Boston area where he teaches literature, language and writing courses. His research interests include Vanguard and Symbolist poetry, European Medieval Studies, Feminist Studies, Second Language Acquisition and Innovation in Teaching. He has published numerous poems and articles in literary journals in Spain and Latin America.

    Dr. Zifei Liu is an assistant professor in the department of Biological & Agricultural Engineering at Kansas State University. He received a bachelor's degree in atmospheric science from Nanjing University in China in 1992. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he worked in Anhui environmental monitoring center from 1992 to 2002, where he participated in numerous environmental projects, collaborating with both industry and government. He then spent one year in Japan as a research trainee, receiving training on environmental management. He earned a master's degree in environmental engineering from University of Cincinnati in 2005 and a doctorate in biological and agricultural engineering from North Carolina State University in 2009. After that, he spent two years as a post doc at Michigan State University, working with animal nutritionists on dietary strategies for mitigating air emissions from livestock operations. In 2012, he joined the department of Biological & Agricultural Engineering at Kansas State University.

    Caleb Finegan earned his doctorate (PhD, 1999) from the University of Florida with a concentration in colonial Latin American History. Dr. Finegan has been a faculty member in the Department of History since fall 2000. He is also the director of IUP's Robert E. Cook Honors College.     Dr. Saleh Hamdan is a professor of mathematics and physics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He also earned a MS in Pure Mathematics from UIC, and two BS degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University.     Dr. Richard (Rick) Vogel was born in the Northern parts of New York State, about 200 miles from New York City. He moved to Yonkers, right next to NYC at the age of 6 and lived there until going to college in Northern parts of New York. He graduated with a BA in Communication from the State University of New York. After working in television, he began graduate school in Southern Illinois University, about 250 miles south of Chicago. While in graduate school, he studied broadcasting and psychology. While going to graduate school and throughout his academic career, he has been an independent writer, producer and director of corporate videos, commercials and public service announcements and has written speeches for political candidates. He received his PhD from the University of Tennessee in Communication with an emphasis in Broadcasting and Psychology.

She started as a substitute teacher while she was completing my bachelor’s degree. In graduate school she was selected to be a graduate teaching associate, where I taught fundamentals of technical presentation. Once she graduated with my master’s degree she started teaching full time at colleges/universities in Orlando. Aside from teaching, she is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida and she specializes in new home construction. I also have experience working in a marketing company and with government offices.
